I was referred to AX Art by my wedding planner ... They responded quickly to my inquiries and after going through their Instagram and seeing the work they had done, I knew I wanted them to do my hair and make-up for my elopement.
On the day itself, they were on time and professional. They did a great job with my hair and make-up and were able to recreate the inspiration images I had sent them. They were very personable and we had great conversations and which made the overall experience enjoyable.

I hired AX Art Atelier for my June 2020 wedding, which was postponed due to the pandemic. They were prompt, professional and gracious in handling the transition to the later date, and (luckily for me) ... I showed her a few references and she created a look that highlighted my best features. The hair/makeup was perfect - soft and glam but still natural, and it lasted through a hot day, tons of crying, and even a 5-hour post-elopement hike (seriously). Not a single eyelash came unglued. Xoey and Annie are an amazing team of fun-loving, hyper talented beauty professionals. They are great listeners and genuinely care about making you feel as beautiful and confident as you need to feel (within the boundaries you draw)!! It was important to me to choose a makeup + hair team that would make me feel/look glamourous in a way that was authentic to me - I don't often wear that much makeup, and I didn't want to show up feeling unlike myself (I've had some bad makeup experiences by other artists). It was also important that I chose a team who would get along with my family, bridesmaids, etc...there were a lot of people involved with the planning of the event! *No one wants to book a vendor who doesn't care/doesn't share in the excitement (it's a total downer if you do have this energy on your special day)*.
