Covid Policy

 

  • To all our clients and followers, we are taking extra necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our clients.   Although there is no ‘guaranteed and truly safe service’ as social distance cannot be maintained during makeup, hair or other beauty services, these guidelines will be able to bring us to the highest standards of protection. 

    Covid-19 Studio Safety Guidelines 

    •Face masks need to be worn by all customers except for makeup/ permanent makeup appointments. Your artist will be wearing a mask at all times. 

    •Customers will be asked to sanitize at the door. 

  • Applies to all in studio and on location appointments.

    * You are feeling sick or tired in any way 


    * You have had a fever in the last 7 days

    * You have travelled internationally in the last 7 days and have been advised to quarantine


    * You are currently caring for or quarantining with a person who has Covid-19


    If you need to cancel last minute, there will be no cancellation fees. Your deposit can be used towards a service at a later date expiring 6 months from original booking date. Once the 6th month date has passed, the deposit will be forfeited. There are no refunds on deposits.

  • Due to the ever changing bans and restrictions, we understand the need for our brides to postpone or reschedule their weddings. We will work with our brides and wedding planners to decide what will be the next best course of action.

    If a wedding is to be postponed due to Covid-19, a one time only deposit deferral (within 12 months of the original booking date) will be honoured with the exception of the original invoice's grand total remaining at the same amount or higher. No exceptions will be made if services are removed.

    Should the wedding be postponed more than once, the contract will be updated to AX Art Atelier’s current bridal rates. An administration fee of 10% will be applied on top of the original contract. The client may be required to pay a remaining balance toward a new 25% retainer to secure the new booking as part of the contract being revised to new rates.

    If a wedding is to be cancelled, the client will forfeit the deposit and the appointment will be cancelled.

    There are no refunds on any deposits.

    Covid-19 Makeup and on location Services

    We ask that you help limit our social interactions by having only yourself and your artist(s) in the room while you receive hair and makeup services by our team. We will arrive wearing masks and require access to a sink before, during and after the appointment.  Please ensure there is appropriate table space, freshly sanitized, and ready for our artists to set up. Any person(s) not receiving AX Art Atelier services are asked to maintain social distancing.

  • If you plan to bring a guest to your appointment, we advise to being no more than 1 and let us know beforehand. If you are having your brows or lashes done, please wear a face mask to your appointment.  

    The bed, chairs, tools and work stations are wiped down with hospital grade sanitation wipes and/or disinfected in CS20 after each client. Pillows are covered with single-use pillow cases and tossed after each client. 

    In addition, we will be sanitizing all door handles and payment machines and our cellphones regularly.

  • * Hand washing after and in between all clients and or hand sanitizer used throughout the appointment. 


    * brushes are cleaned after each client


    * Brushes are soaked in 99%alcohol and brush cleaner repeatedly to disinfect and clean thoroughly 


    * All cream products and mascara will be used with mascara spoolies and a spatula and metal plate. 


    * 99% alcohol will be sprayed and wiped on products that cannot be used with a spooly or spatula 


    * Metal plates are wiped down and sanitized after each use 


    * Technician tools will be sanitized in CS20 


    * bed, floor, chair, lamps, work stations will be wiped down with hospital grade sanitation wipes. 


    * Pillows covered with single-use pillowcase.


    * Deep cleaning brushes will be done with anti-bacterial dish soap


    * Phones, door knobs, payment machines and high traffic areas will be wiped down continuously after each use.
